Hello everyone!! It’s been quiet too long since we have not come up with any mysterious things. Today let's jump into one of the miracles which lie In India which defy scientific logic. Even many scientists were not able to resolve these mysteries. Are you all very excited to know let’s jump into it?

In ancient times Odisha was known as Utkal as there was sea trade it was also an important region for business. It was also called Purushottam Kshetra, Neelanchal, Neelgiri, and Jagannath puri.

Jagannath Puri temple is one of the four Dham (four abodes are Badrinath, Jagannath Dham, Rameswaram Dham, and Dwarka Dham) the temple is dedicated to Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and their sister goddess Subhadra. This Jagannath Dham temple is constructed by Ananta Varman chodaganga of the Ganga dynasty in the 12th century, it trolls over 400000 square feet with imposing surrounding walls about 22 feet in height, and the main structure raises about 200 feet almost as high as the taj mahal. The main temple is surrounded by 30 smaller temples of various sizes housing different gods and goddesses of the Hindu religion.

Lord Jagannath is a Hindu deity who is worshiped by the whole world. Lord Jagannath is considered one of the incarnations of Lord Vishnu, this is the reason lord Jagannath is been worshipped in different forms. Lord Jagannath Is identified as the 8th Incarnation of Lord Vishnu and Lord Jagannath's idol is made up of wood so is also identified as Lord Narasimha's{GOD OF ANGER} incarnation who ignited from a wooden pillar like this many mysteries are linked with this lord Jagannath. Today let's know about the Mystery and miracles that are associated with Lord Jagannath in Puri in the state of Odisha.

There is a legend behind the establishment of this temple, Let me drive to the origin. According to the legend in Satya yuga, there was a king named Indradymna who was an ardent devotee of Lord Vishnu to show his affection to Lord Vishnu he expressed a wish that wanted to build a temple for Lord Vishnu were wanted to install his idol but one of his doubts was that what would be the shape of the idol of god and in this context, he sought the help of Lord Brahma. According to the advice of Brahma king started doing severe penance of Lord Vishnu. One night Lord Vishnu came into kings dream and advised him that he should go to puri and bring a neem wood lying on the shore of the sea and build an idol of it.

As per the instructions, the king brought that piece of wood but got into another problem he was not getting any sculptor to make an idol. And finally, Lord Vishwakarma came to his help he met the king as a sculptor. He placed a condition in front of the king that no one is allowed to peep inside at the time of construction of the idol. A few days passed and suddenly the sound behind the door stopped. king got worried as the sound from inside stopped. when the king opened the door to check the situation he could see no one inside except the incomplete idols. the idols were of Lord Jagannath, Lord Bala Bhadra, and their sister goddess Subhadra. The king realized his mistake and he apologized to Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu suggested to the king that he should install these idols in the temple and according to Lord's order, the same idols were installed in the temple. Dedicated to these three deities the festival of Rath Yatra is held in the month of Ashadha where the idols of these three are kept in their different chariots and taken out on procession to Gundicha temple, three kilometers away, for a period of seven days. The chariot in which the idol of Lord Jagannath is kept is called Nandighosha, The chariot in which the idol of lord Bala Bhadra is kept is called Taladhwaja, The chariot in which the idol of goddess Subhadra is kept is called Darapadalana. It is believed that a week before the visiting god is given rest and the temple is kept closed during those seven days.

There are many surprising facts associated with this temple such as the idols. All the temples around the world where idols in the temple are made up of stones, marbles, or metals. But the idols established at this temple are made out of the wood of a neem tree which are replaced every 8,12 or 19 years.

On the day of the replacement of idols the power in the whole city will be shut down with the orders of the state government this holy act is taken place under great security and the responsibility of replacement of idols is given to the eldest priest of the temple, even the priest cannot enter the temple normally there are few customs to be followed such as the priest will be blindfolded his eyes and hands will be covered with thick gloves and no one are allowed to watch this holy ceremony. During changing the idols the priest takes out BRAHAM PADARTH from the old idols and places it inside the new one. This ritual dates far back to the day the temple was built. In fact, it is taken care that even the priest is not aware or feel of what he is holding while replacing it from old idols to new idols even though his mere touch. The priests who have performed the rituals say that the Brahma Padarth feels like a living thing but no one actually knows what it is in reality. Let us know what people believe about the holy Braham Padarth it is said that when Lord Krishna left his soul when the last right was performed his body was burned but his heart was alive like a normal person's heart and the heart was beating like a normal person and that heart is safe inside the lord Jagannath in the same way. The Braham Padarth which is replaced from old idol to new idol is nothing but the heart of Lord Krishna which is still alive it is believed that one who witnesses these rituals will die instantly so this ceremony is performed securely.

The other fascinating mysteries of this temple are it is located beside the sea, the temple has many entrances the main entrance of Singh Dwar is located at the shore of the sea so the sound of the waves is heard. As soon as someone enters the temple through the Singh Dwar the sound of the sea waves stops. As soon as one steps out of the temple again they will be able to hear the sounds of the waves this one may call its Divinity of Lord Jagannath or any scientific miracle but till now no one has answered for this miracle.

Another mystery no birds fly or sit above the Shikhar of the temple so no chopper or aero plane is also permitted to fly above the temple. I was bewildered why the birds do not fly over the Shikhar of Jagannath temple is still unknown. one more interesting mystery is that the temple has no shadow at all at any time of the day from any direction possible whether it is architectural marvel or a miracle of Lord Jagannath.

On top of the temple, there is a Sudarshan chakra which is known as Neel chakra this chakra is made of Ashatadhatu (eight metals) whose height is 11 feet 8 inches the specialty of this chakra is that if we look at it from any side it appears facing towards us and that the flag at top of the temple waves in the opposite direction of the wind which is again the law of wind and the flag is changed every day that this tradition has been practiced for last 1800 years it is also said that if they fail even for a day to change the flag then the temple will be closed for the next 18 years.

A holy offering is prepared by 600 cooks for devotes and the specialty about it is that neither a single unit of it gets wasted nor falls short nearly 2000 to 200000 devotees visit the temple every day and Using 1000 earthen pots just once, 600 cooks prepare 56 dishes on wood-fired traditional stoves which after offering to the god, is distributed as Mahaprasad And the food is prepared in 7 earthen pots on wood-fired traditional stoves and the pots are kept one above other and the astonishing thing is that the food will be cooked on the top pot first and last in the pot which is near to the fire which is out of our imagination. These are enigmatic activities without any scientific explanations.

These are the stories that connected generations, there were some mysteries where questions remain unanswered. Well, let's end here with legends wrapped in faith that moved millions truly which our body cannot endure faith can. Probably we will bring such stories many more.
