WHAT IS HISTORY OF ELECTIONS
One of basic information need to know by every citizen in India was, People will be considered for voting under UAF, formally known as universal adult franchise.
Elections were form of procedure to elect the leaders on the basis of voting to governance and administrate the country in dedicated manner. Every individual who were resident of India should eligible to cast vote and elect their leaders, Before the independent elections were conducted, on time of British ruling federal legislative elections were held in 1937, 1942 under observation British prominence. To make the procedure easy and legitimate elections officials were introduced political symbols, which were easy to recognize the individual symbol without any inconvenience to the voters and hence violet ink was another invention of those period of elections and continuing now too, as to eradicate the proxy and illegal actions done by voters during period of elections. We can proudly say that it was stupendous take on conducting first independent elections during period 1950's as we mostly knew that it was been a couple of years that independence was arrived and still many to become normal, we should make notice of determination of leaders and government to succeed the elections in a legitimate manner.
It should'nt be possible without some of higher officials of civil servants and electoral, The first election commissioner of India was Sukumar Sen, was one of the greatest possibility to conduct elections and on that time there was approximately 16,500 electoral were appointed for proceedings of elections because earlier there was no notation of any record and they should create records by undertaking population survey and residents of India according to eligible criteria for elections, there was acts were came into force for criteria of conducting elections.

- B R Ambedkar founded Republican Party
- J B Acharya kripalani came with Kisan Mazdoor Praja Party
- Ram Manohar Lohia and Jaya Prakash Narayan came with Socialist Party
After successful completion of first elections, INC secured maximum percentage and CPI party and Socialist party were secured with minimum percentage with
Indian National congress party with 364 seats and CPI party secured 16 seats also Socialist party secured 12 seats along with some other parties with less percentage.
One of the major thing to be noticed was the voting percentage of 45% was only registered on the period but we should remember our great leaders with stupendous effort registered with polling percentage of 45 which almost half of population came into force to cast their vote. Actually during 1950's also still some places were occupied were British ruling and after establishment of republic day was considered a complete independence and from of slavery.
