Then probably I would say "NO". If I tell you that in India there was a lady who was reborn then, will you all believe with me? Not only this, but the father of our Nation MAHATMA GANDHI had also publically admitted that this story of rebirth is true.

Let me tell you about the lady who not only made India's but the scholars and critics of the world ponder. Her Name is SHANTI DEVI.

                                              

Shanti Devi was born on 11th December 1926 in Delhi .she was not able to speak for 3 years but just as she turned 4, she started claiming that the house she was living in wasn't her real house. Her real house is 160 km away from Delhi in Mathura.

Shanti Devi also told her parents about her past lives husband and child. she told her husband who lives in Mathura had a shop for clothes. She started to call herself Chaubain meaning Chaube"s wife. she also said that she had a child 10 days after giving birth to that child. She Died.

Consider, if a 4 years old kid tells you all these things generally, we ignore them. The same thing happened with Shanti Devi too. Later if a 4 years old girl tells us the same thing again and again then will you be able to ignore her?

Every day she used to tell past incidents from her past life, while eating she would say in her house at Mathura different types of sweets were made. while when her mom used to dress her up then she used to talk about her favorite dresses from her past life. Not only these she also told three unique features about her husband. she told that her husband from the past life was fair, there was a big spot on his left cheek, and he used to wear glasses. All this may be a coincidence but what she told later was all the more convincing.

She told that her husband from her past life had a shop of clothes in Mathura in front of Dwarikadhish temple. For almost 2 years she was saying things like these which put her parents in worry. They were confused that how can such a small girl talk about such details and specific events.

Because Shanti Devi made such claims since her childhood, which makes her school headmaster decide that he’ll go to Mathura and find the truth behind this.

In Mathura, he located a businessman whose wife, LUGDI Devi has passed away 10 days after giving birth to a child, 9 years ago. Not only that the businessman had all the 3 unique features that Shanti Devi had claimed. His name was Kedar Nath Chaube

After seeing all these facts from his own eyes the headmaster thought that he will make Kedar Nath Chaube and Shanti Devi meet. Kedar Nath went to meet Shanti Devi in the form of his big brother. Shanti Devi was also very smart she not only identified Kedar Nath and also their son who had come along with him Navneet Lal.

After meeting her past life husband and son, she told all her incidents starting from childbirth to her death. With this, she gave a detailed account of all the surgeries she went through during her death. Everyone was shocked how can a small girl tell such details. So to be completely sure Kedar Nath thought of talking alone with Shanti Devi. He asked her in person that she had arthritis in her past life due to which she couldn't work much because her joints had become very weak. So despite having this disease how did she become pregnant?

For this Shanti Devi described the whole intercourse that happened between Kedar Nath and her. She also asked him why did he marry again? when they both had decided that they will never marry someone else. After listening to this Kedar Nath was sure that Shanti Devi is his late wife Lugdi Devi.

This news spread like a fire in a dense forest in a laudatory summer and Mahatma Gandhi heard about the incident, was curious to meet this lady. He appointed a committee of 15 people to prove this Rebirth.

With these 15 people along Shanti Devi went to Mathura on 15 November 1935. Right after getting down at the station she immediately identified an unknown man and said that he was her brother-in-law. everyone was surprised because that person was Kedar Nath's older brother Babu Ram chaube.

After this, she told a tonga driver the way to her house. she mentioned all the changes that had taken place which was true. Just as she reached home she went to take blessings from an old man in the crowd that person was her father-in-law.

To test her they asked her where is jajroo and she told where it was, she was asked what was meant by katora she said that it meant paratha both words were only known by chaubes of Mathura and no outsider would normally know them.

She not only told these things but she also showed her the well where she used to bathe. She also told on the 2nd floor about the spot where she had kept some money. When the committee reached the spot so there they did see a flower pot but the money wasn't there then Kedar Nath confessed that after his wife's death he had removed all the money from there. After witnessing these events from their eyes the committee concluded that Shanti Devi is Lugdi Devi"s rebirth.

After the report was published many started studying Shanti Devi's story. One researcher Lan Stevenson who was one of the leading authorities on reincarnation studies said that Shanti Devi's story is true saying all these in such detail is next to impossible.

just like this Many reincarnations exist to date such as Sunny of the USA, Majnu of India, Marta of brazil but this was only proved true story.
